The Columbus MarketPlace is the region’s leading market center for wholesale gifts, home furnishings and garden products. Our annual markets are major industry events, drawing serious retailers from across the Midwest and Northeast. The Columbus MarketPlace is a permanent wholesale market center open only to the retail and design trades. It has a 30-year history and tremendous reputation for providing a great place to do business.

Showrooms are leased on a permanent basis with a minimum of one year to start. Rental rates are calculated on an annual basis with utilities included. Current rates are:

• A minimum 6 month term is $20.00 per sq. ft.
• Any term of 7 months to 2 years is $19.50 per sq. ft.

These rates are based on an annual rent. For example a 500 sq. ft. showroom on a 6 month lease is calculated at 500 x $20.00 = $10,000.00 for the year and divide by 12 for the monthly rent of $833.33.

Other fees required are a security deposit of $1.00 per square foot, $50.00 to process your application and a $500 non refundable membership fee in the Tri State Gift Association. Membership is required of all lease holders. Download the application here.

If you are interested in pursuing a showroom lease and a room is available you will need to fill out the application and return it to the attention of Karen Knies, Executive Director. New members are approved by the Board of Directors after a satisfactory credit review is completed. All credit information is kept confidential and reviewed only by our staff accountant.
