If you have been looking for a great opportunity to exhibit your products then the Columbus MarketPlace has the answer for you. Now three times per year the highly successful MartketPlace opens some available show room space for temporary exhibitors. After several successful runs the MarketPlace has decided to add the third opportunity beginning in January the 18-21, followed by March 14-17 and August 15-18, 2008.

As a temporary exhibitor you will be open at the same time as the permanent showrooms with the exception of the last day. Set up is two days before the show opens and tear down is at 6 p.m. on Monday, so you have four full days to sell. The annual Immediate Delivery Sale date has been changed for 2008. This terrific sale is typically held the first weekend in November But next year that weekend begins on Halloween, so we have moved the date up to begin Friday, Oct. 24 and run through Monday Oct. 27. Please update your calendars and we'll look forward to seeing you at all our markets in 2008.

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that they have signed a new 10 year lease at it's current location in Columbus, Ohio. The Board has been working diligently to have a new lease in place when the current lease expires in May 2009. "We are very excited about the new opportunites the new lease will give us" said Perry Lively, board president. He further added that " the new lease provides current members with stability in the marketplace. We will continue to serve our customers and members as we have for many years."

Join us Sunday and Monday, May 18 & 19 for our Spring Sample Sale. Showrooms will be selling their discontinued samples at wholesale prices. Show hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

Registered Buyers are admitted for free and may bring two guests for a $5 fee per guest. New buyers may register at the sale with the required business identification such as your tax resale number, photo ID, business card, federal tax ID,credit card or check in the business name. It's spring and if your town is like ours then you have seen the orange barrels sprouting in profusion along the road. We have two projects that are on two main roads coming in to the Mart. The first project is on Trabue/Renner Road. You access this road from I-70 and the Rome Hilliard exit. This is a very short term project beginning in April and ending in October this year.

The second project is on Roberts Road which is the exit you take from I-270. Roberts Road is being expanded from two to five lanes from the exit to Rome Hilliard Road. This is very extensive project that has already begun but is not expected to be completed until July 2009. Delays coming off the freeway may be long during the week but should not be a problem the weekends.
